Guide the bar precisely into the lathe
The patented BDC (Controlled Diameter Support) Centering Unit has been designed by IEMCA to guide bars of any diameter and section precisely into the lathe.
The Centering Unit accepts any diameter bar and reduces vibrations and noise during operation. It can be turned by the bar, accompanying it throughout processing. No friction is created, reducing wear of the polyurethane support. It also adapts to the diameter of the bar feeder, allowing it to go through and ensuring precise bar guidance and maximum rigidity.
IDEAL FOR LOW-QUALITY BARS
The BDC Centering Unit should only be used in exceptional circumstances, with very specific applications and when low-quality bars are used.
The guide system on the IEMCA bar feeders, the sturdiness of their structure and the standard supports supplied ensure the bar is guided perfectly during processing and can be used in practically all applications. When necessary, IEMCA is able to adapt the BDC Centering Unit to individual applications for both fixed and sliding headstock lathes. The new EASY LOCK device makes it even faster and easier to replace the BDC centering unit, without the need for tools.

The BOSS is an automatic bar feeder suitable for working bars with diameters between 5 and 51 mm, ideal for both fixed and sliding headstock lathes, for bar length from 700 to 6.380 mm.

SIR

The SIR is an automatic bar feeder for multispindle lathes equipped of 6 and 8 spindles. It is perfect to load bars of diameters between 4 and 52 mm and a length between 2,500 mm and 4.300 mm.
